1. Mold preparation.

2. The heat and fusion process.

If it stays to long, the product will lose value and durability, making a poor item. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which develops bubbles in the completed product line.

3. Mould cooling.
When the component has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mould. This is yet another measure that depends a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing warping of the item.

4. The unloading or de-moulding phase.
As soon as the product inside te mould has cooled correctly, the molder handling the operation can then extract the finished item from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the start, supplying a series of identical products.
