1. Mould prep work.

3. Mold cooling.
When the material has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks somewhat for ease of removal from the mold. This is another measure that relies a lot on the correct timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing bending of the item.

4. The unloading or de-molding phase.
Once the material within te mould has cooled correctly, the person taking care of the procedure can then extract the finished product from the mould. The function is repeated from the start, providing a number of similar products.
