1. Mold readying.

2. The heating up and fusion phase.

One thing that is vital at this point is the amount of time the mould will spend within the oven. If it stays to long, the product will lose stability and durability, producing a poor item. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which produces bubbles in the finished item.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the material has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the component cools, it shrinks a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is another measure that depends a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too quickly, causing warping of the material.

4. The discharging or de-molding step.
As soon as the material within te mold has cooled successfully, the person handling the process can then take out the completed product from the mould. The process is repeated from the beginning, giving a number of similar items.
