1. Mould readying.

2. The heating and fusion step.

Something that is critical at this point is the period of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it stays to long, the component will lose stability and durability, making a weak item. If it is removed from the oven too early, the polymer will not have liquefied correctly, which produces bubbles in the finalized item.
3. Mold cooling down.
When the component has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces a little for ease of extraction from the mold. This is another procedure that depends a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too fast, causing warping of the item.
4. The unloading or de-molding step.
Once the component inside te mold has cooled effectively, the molder handling the process can then remove the finished item from the mold. The function is repeated from the start, providing a series of similar products.
