1. Mould preparation.

This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces a little for ease of extraction from the mold. This is another procedure that depends a lot on the correct timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too quick, causing bending of the item.

4. The removing or de-moulding step.
Once the product inside te mold has cooled adequately, the person handling the process can then take out the finalized item from the mould. The technique is repeated from the start, making a number of exact products.
