The Rotomoulding Method Components

1. Mold prep work.

2. The heat and fusion procedure.
Once within the oven, the mold is spun on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and overlays the inside if the mould. The spinning is done slowly and gradually, about 20 spins per sixty seconds. The main thing that is critical at this point is the amount of time the mold will spend within the oven. If it overstays, the material will lose stability and durability, creating a poor product. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which produces bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mould cooling.
When the product has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mold. This is one more measure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too rapidly, causing warping of the item.

4. The discharging or de-molding phase.
When the product within te mould has cooled effectively, the person handling the operation can then extract the finalized product from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, supplying a series of similar product lines.
