The Rotomolding Procedure Components

1. Mould preparation.

If it stays to long, the material will lose stability and strength, producing a poor product. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which generates bubbles in the finished item.

3. Mold cooling.
When the product has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the component cools, it shrinks a little for ease of extraction from the mold. This is an additional measure that depends a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing bending of the product.

4. The removing or de-molding step.
When the product inside te mould has cooled properly, the person handling the process can then remove the finished product from the mould. The function is repeated from the beginning, providing a series of identical items.
