1. Mould preparation.

2. The heating and fusion procedure.
Once within the oven, the mould is revolved on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and layers the inside if the mold. The turning is done gradually, about 20 rotations per min. The main thing that is critical at this moment is the period of time the mold will spend within the oven. If it stays to long, the material will lose stability and strength, producing a weak item. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which produces bubbles in the completed product line.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the component has sufficiently spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks somewhat for ease of removal from the mould. This is another step that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too rapidly, causing warping of the product.

4. The un-loading or de-molding phase.
When the material inside te mould has cooled successfully, the molder handling the procedure can then remove the finalized item from the mould. The process is repeated from the beginning, providing a number of similar products.
