1. Mold preparation.

If it is removed from the oven too early, the polymer will not have liquefied properly, which develops bubbles in the finished item.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the component has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of removal from the mold. This is another step that depends a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too quickly, causing bending of the material.

4. The offloading or de-molding step.
As soon as the product inside te mould has cooled correctly, the molder handling the procedure can then extract the finished product from the mould. The process is repeated from the start, supplying a number of similar products.
