1. Mould prep work.
A fixed quantity of polymer in particle form is filled into a hollow mold. The mold is usually made of cast aluminium or sheet steel material. The most generally used powder resin is polythene, but polyvinyl chloride and nylon can also be used in this style of plastic manufacturing.

Preheating of the oven starts, and it can be done by either conduction, convection or sometimes radiation. It is warmed to temperatures between 500-700F. The mold with the powdered polymer is then locked and installed within the oven.

2. The heat and fusion procedure.
Once inside the oven, the mold is revolved on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and coats the inside if the mold. The spinning is done slowly and gradually, about 20 revolutions per min. One thing that is essential at this point is the amount of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the product will lose value and durability, creating a weak product. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which generates bubbles in the finalized item.

3. Mold cooling.
When the component has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the component cools, it shrinks a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is another procedure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too quickly, causing bending of the material.

4. The unloading or de-moulding phase.
As soon as the product within te mould has cooled successfully, the person managing the procedure can then remove the finalized item from the mould. The technique is repeated from the beginning, supplying a series of exact items.
