The Rotomoulding Procedure Components

1. Mold fitting.

2. The heating and fusion procedure.

The turning is done slowly, about 20 revolutions per min. The main thing that is vital at this moment is the amount of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it stays to long, the component will lose stability and durability, producing a poor product. If it is taken out from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have liquefied correctly, which generates bubbles in the finalized product line.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the component has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is one more measure that depends a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too quick, causing warping of the material.

4. The discharging or de-molding phase.
As soon as the product inside te mold has cooled successfully, the molder taking care of the process can then extract the completed product from the mold. The technique is repeated from the start, providing a series of exact products.
