1. Mold prep work.

2. The heating and fusion step.

One thing that is essential at this moment is the period of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it stays to long, the product will lose stability and durability, generating a faulty item. If it is taken out from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which develops bubbles in the finished product line.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the product has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces slightly for ease of removal from the mold. This is one more step that depends a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too rapidly, causing warping of the material.

4. The unloading or de-moulding phase.
When the product inside te mold has cooled successfully, the molder taking care of the procedure can then extract the finished product from the mold. The technique is repeated from the beginning, making a series of similar product lines.
