1. Mould preparation.

2. The heating up and fusion process.

If it stays to long, the product will lose value and durability, producing a faulty item. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which develops bubbles in the finalized item.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the product has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mould. This is another step that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling decreases the material too quick, causing warping of the item.

4. The removing or de-moulding step.
As soon as the product inside te mold has cooled properly, the person handling the operation can then remove the finalized product from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, giving a number of similar items.
