1. Mould readying.
A predetermined quantity of polymer in grain form is loaded into a hollow mould. The mold is usually made from cast aluminium or sheet steel substance. The most often used powder resin is polythene, but polyvinyl chloride and nylon can also be used in this style of plastic production.

Preheating of the oven starts, and it may be done by either conduction, convection or sometimes radiation. It is heated up to temperatures between 500-700F. The mold with the powdered polymer is then locked and placed within the oven.

2. The heating up and fusion step.
Once inside the oven, the mould is spun on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and layers the inside if the mould. The turning is done slowly and gradually, about 20 spins per sixty seconds. The main thing that is vital at this point is the amount of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the product will lose stability and durability, producing a faulty item. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted properly, which develops bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the component has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces a little for ease of extraction from the mould. This is one more step that depends upon a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing warping of the material.

4. The removing or de-molding step.
Once the material inside te mould has cooled successfully, the person managing the process can then extract the finalized product from the mold. The process is repeated from the start, providing a series of identical products.
