The Rotomoulding Procedure Components

1. Mould fitting.

2. The heat and fusion phase.

The turning is done gradually, about 20 rotations per sixty seconds. The main thing that is critical at this point is the amount of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the component will lose stability and durability, producing a poor product. If it is extracted from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted properly, which develops bubbles in the finalized item.

3. Mold cooling.
When the product has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks a little for ease of removal from the mold. This is yet another procedure that depends a lot on the correct timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too fast, causing warping of the material.

4. The removing or de-moulding step.
When the product inside te mold has cooled correctly, the molder managing the procedure can then take out the finalized item from the mould. The technique is repeated from the beginning, supplying a series of identical product lines.
