1. Mould fitting.

2. The heating up and fusion phase.
Once placed into the oven, the mould is rotated on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and coats the inside if the mold. The rotation is done slowly and gradually, about 20 rotations per min. One thing that is critical at this moment is the amount of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the product will lose stability and durability, creating a faulty item. If it is taken out from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have liquefied properly, which produces bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mold cooling.
When the material has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks somewhat for ease of extraction from the mould. This is another step that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too quick, causing warping of the item.

4. The removing or de-moulding step.
When the product within te mold has cooled adequately, the molder taking care of the process can then remove the finalized item from the mould. The function is repeated from the start, providing a number of similar product lines.
