1. Mold preparation.

2. The heating and fusion procedure.
Once inside the oven, the mold is turned on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and overlays the inside if the mold. The rotation is done slowly and gradually, about 20 spins per minute. The main thing that is essential at this point is the amount of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the material will lose stability and durability, generating a weak product. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted properly, which generates bubbles in the completed item.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the component has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of removal from the mold. This is one more step that depends upon a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too quickly, causing bending of the item.

4. The unloading or de-molding phase.
As soon as the product inside te mold has cooled properly, the molder handling the operation can then take out the finalized item from the mould. The function is repeated from the beginning, making a series of exact product lines.
