The Rotomoulding Method Components

2. The heat and fusion step.
Once within the oven, the mold is spun on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and overlays the inside if the mould. The rotation is done slowly, about 20 spins per sixty seconds. The main thing that is essential at this point is the period of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the component will lose stability and durability, creating a weak product. If it is removed from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which develops bubbles in the finalized product line.

3. Mould cooling.
When the material has sufficiently spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is another measure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too quick, causing warping of the item.

4. The un-loading or de-moulding step.
As soon as the product inside te mold has cooled effectively, the person handling the procedure can then extract the finished product from the mold. The function is repeated from the start, making a number of similar items.
