1. Mold fitting.

2. The heating and fusion procedure.
Once inside the oven, the mold is turned on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and overlays the inside if the mould. The turning is done slowly, about 20 rotations per sixty seconds. One thing that is vital at this point is the period of time the mold will spend within the oven. If it overstays, the material will lose value and durability, generating a faulty product. If it is extracted from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which produces bubbles in the finalized product line.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the component has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of removal from the mould. This is yet another measure that relies a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too quickly, causing warping of the item.

4. The discharging or de-molding step.
When the product within te mold has cooled successfully, the molder handling the process can then take out the completed item from the mould. The technique is repeated from the beginning, supplying a series of identical products.
