1. Mould readying.

2. The heating and fusion procedure.
Once inside the oven, the mold is spun on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and layers the inside if the mould. The turning is done slowly and gradually, about 20 rotations per min. The main thing that is vital at this point is the period of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the component will lose value and durability, generating a faulty product. If it is extracted from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which produces bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the component has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks somewhat for ease of removal from the mold. This is another measure that relies a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too fast, causing warping of the product.

4. The un-loading or de-moulding phase.
Once the component inside te mould has cooled correctly, the person managing the procedure can then take out the finalized product from the mould. The function is repeated from the beginning, providing a series of identical product lines.
