1. Mould prep work.

2. The heat and fusion process.

If it stays to long, the product will lose stability and strength, creating a poor product. If it is taken out from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which produces bubbles in the finished product line.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the material has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces a little for ease of extraction from the mould. This is an additional step that depends a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too quick, causing bending of the item.

4. The offloading or de-molding step.
As soon as the material inside te mold has cooled successfully, the person handling the procedure can then extract the finalized item from the mould. The function is repeated from the start, giving a series of exact items.
