The main thing that is essential at this point is the amount of time the mould will spend within the oven. If it overstays, the material will lose value and durability, producing a poor item. If it is taken out from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed correctly, which creates bubbles in the finalized item.

3. Mould cooling.
When the product has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of extraction from the mould. This is another measure that depends a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too fast, causing bending of the item.

4. The unloading or de-moulding step.
Once the material inside te mould has cooled adequately, the molder taking care of the procedure can then take out the completed product from the mold. The technique is repeated from the beginning, making a number of similar items.
