1. Mould readying.
A fixed measure of polymer in particle form is packed into a hollow mold. The mould is usually comprised of cast aluminium or sheet steel substance. 2. The heat and fusion phase.
Once placed into the oven, the mould is turned on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and coats the inside if the mould. The turning is done gradually, about 20 spins per sixty seconds. One thing that is crucial at this moment is the period of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the component will lose stability and durability, creating a weak product. If it is taken out from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which develops bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the material has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is one more step that relies a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing bending of the product.

4. The offloading or de-molding phase.
Once the product within te mold has cooled adequately, the molder handling the process can then take out the finished item from the mold. The function is repeated from the start, making a number of exact items.
