1. Mold preparation.

3. Mould cooling.
When the component has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces a little for ease of extraction from the mould. This is an additional measure that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too rapidly, causing warping of the material.

4. The discharging or de-moulding step.
As soon as the product within te mould has cooled properly, the person handling the operation can then take out the finalized product from the mould. The process is repeated from the start, making a number of exact products.
