1. Mold preparation.

2. The heating and fusion phase.
Once within the oven, the mold is turned on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and layers the inside if the mold. The spinning is done slowly, about 20 spins per min. The main thing that is important at this moment is the amount of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the component will lose stability and strength, making a poor product. If it is taken out from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have liquefied correctly, which creates bubbles in the finalized item.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the material has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of extraction from the mold. This is an additional measure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too quick, causing warping of the material.

4. The removing or de-moulding phase.
Once the product within te mold has cooled correctly, the person handling the operation can then remove the finalized product from the mold. The technique is repeated from the start, giving a series of exact products.
