1. Mould preparation.

If it is taken out from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which generates bubbles in the finalized product.

3. Mould cooling.
When the product has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the component cools, it shrinks a little for ease of extraction from the mold. This is another measure that depends upon a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too quickly, causing warping of the product.

4. The discharging or de-moulding phase.
Once the product within te mold has cooled correctly, the molder taking care of the process can then take out the finished product from the mold. The function is repeated from the start, providing a series of similar product lines.
