3. Mould cooling down.

This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks somewhat for ease of removal from the mould. This is an additional measure that relies a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too fast, causing bending of the product.

4. The discharging or de-molding step.
Once the component within te mold has cooled correctly, the person taking care of the process can then extract the finished product from the mold. The process is repeated from the beginning, supplying a number of similar items.
