1. Mold prep work.

2. The heating and fusion phase.
Once within the oven, the mold is spun on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and layers the inside if the mould. The rotation is done gradually, about 20 rotations per minute. The main thing that is crucial at this moment is the amount of time the mold will spend within the oven. If it stays to long, the product will lose stability and durability, generating a faulty item. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which produces bubbles in the completed item.

3. Mould cooling.
When the product has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of extraction from the mold. This is one more measure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling decreases the material too quickly, causing bending of the product.

4. The removing or de-molding step.
When the component within te mould has cooled correctly, the molder handling the operation can then take out the completed product from the mold. The process is repeated from the start, making a number of exact product lines.
