1. Mould preparation.

2. The heat and fusion process.
Once inside the oven, the mould is revolved on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and layers the inside if the mold. The spinning is done slowly, about 20 rotations per sixty seconds. One thing that is crucial at this point is the period of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the component will lose stability and strength, creating a poor product. If it is taken out from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted properly, which develops bubbles in the finalized product line.

3. Mould cooling.
When the product has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mould. This is one more measure that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too quick, causing bending of the product.

4. The offloading or de-molding step.
When the component inside te mold has cooled correctly, the molder managing the procedure can then extract the finished product from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the start, providing a number of similar product lines.
