1. Mold preparation.

2. The heating and fusion step.

One thing that is essential at this point is the amount of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it stays to long, the material will lose stability and durability, making a poor item. If it is extracted from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which generates bubbles in the completed product.

3. Mould cooling.
When the material has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces slightly for ease of removal from the mold. This is another procedure that relies a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too quick, causing warping of the item.

4. The removing or de-molding phase.
As soon as the component inside te mould has cooled correctly, the person managing the procedure can then take out the finalized item from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the start, supplying a number of similar products.
