The Rotomoulding Process in Detail

1. Mold readying.

If it stays to long, the component will lose stability and strength, making a faulty item. If it is extracted from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which creates bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mold cooling.
When the material has sufficiently spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks a little for ease of extraction from the mold. This is one more step that depends upon a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too rapidly, causing bending of the material.

4. The removing or de-molding step.
Once the material inside te mould has cooled correctly, the molder handling the process can then remove the completed product from the mold. The function is repeated from the beginning, providing a number of identical products.
