1. Mold prep work.

2. The heating up and fusion process.
Once placed into the oven, the mold is rotated on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and coats the inside if the mould. The spinning is done gradually, about 20 rotations per sixty seconds. The main thing that is important at this moment is the period of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the material will lose value and durability, creating a poor item. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have liquefied properly, which generates bubbles in the finalized product line.

3. Mould cooling.
When the product has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks a little for ease of removal from the mold. This is another procedure that relies a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too quickly, causing warping of the item.

4. The removing or de-molding phase.
As soon as the component within te mould has cooled properly, the person managing the procedure can then remove the finished product from the mold. The process is repeated from the start, giving a series of exact products.
