2. The heating and fusion process.

One thing that is crucial at this moment is the period of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it stays to long, the component will lose stability and strength, making a faulty product. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted properly, which produces bubbles in the finalized product.

3. Mould cooling.
When the product has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of removal from the mould. This is one more measure that depends a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too rapidly, causing bending of the item.

4. The removing or de-molding step.
Once the material within te mold has cooled correctly, the person handling the process can then extract the finalized item from the mould. The process is repeated from the start, supplying a series of exact items.
