1. Mold preparation.

2. The heating up and fusion phase.
Once placed into the oven, the mould is spun on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and layers the inside if the mould. The spinning is done slowly, about 20 rotations per minute. The main thing that is important at this point is the amount of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it stays to long, the product will lose stability and durability, generating a faulty product. If it is extracted from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have liquefied correctly, which develops bubbles in the completed item.

3. Mould cooling.
When the component has sufficiently spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mould. This is an additional procedure that depends a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too rapidly, causing warping of the material.

4. The removing or de-moulding step.
As soon as the material inside te mold has cooled effectively, the person managing the process can then take out the completed product from the mould. The function is repeated from the beginning, giving a number of exact product lines.
