1. Mould preparation.

3. Mold cooling.
When the component has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces slightly for ease of extraction from the mold. This is one more procedure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing bending of the material.

4. The removing or de-molding phase.
When the material within te mold has cooled adequately, the person taking care of the procedure can then extract the finished item from the mold. The technique is repeated from the beginning, giving a number of identical products.
