1. Mold preparation.
A predetermined measure of polymer in grain form is filled into a hollow mold. The mould is usually crafted from cast aluminium or sheet steel component. 2. The heating and fusion phase.
Once inside the oven, the mould is revolved on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and coats the inside if the mold. If it overstays, the product will lose stability and durability, producing a poor item. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have liquefied correctly, which develops bubbles in the finalized product.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the component has sufficiently spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces a little for ease of removal from the mold. This is an additional step that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too quick, causing bending of the material.

4. The offloading or de-molding step.
When the product inside te mould has cooled correctly, the person handling the procedure can then remove the finished product from the mould. The function is repeated from the start, providing a number of similar items.
