The Rotomolding Method Components

1. Mould fitting.

2. The heating up and fusion process.
Once within the oven, the mold is spun on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and coats the inside if the mould. The turning is done gradually, about 20 revolutions per sixty seconds. The main thing that is important at this point is the period of time the mould will spend within the oven. If it stays to long, the product will lose stability and strength, creating a poor item. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have liquefied properly, which develops bubbles in the finalized item.

3. Mould cooling.
When the component has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces slightly for ease of removal from the mould. This is yet another measure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too fast, causing warping of the item.

4. The discharging or de-moulding phase.
When the component inside te mould has cooled properly, the molder taking care of the procedure can then take out the finished item from the mold. The process is repeated from the beginning, supplying a number of exact product lines.
