1. Mold preparation.

3. Mold cooling.
When the component has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces slightly for ease of extraction from the mold. This is one more measure that depends upon a lot on the correct timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too quickly, causing bending of the material.

4. The unloading or de-moulding step.
When the component within te mold has cooled successfully, the molder managing the process can then remove the finished item from the mold. The technique is repeated from the beginning, giving a series of exact items.
