1. Mould prep work.

If it stays to long, the material will lose stability and strength, generating a poor item. If it is removed from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted properly, which develops bubbles in the finalized item.

3. Mold cooling.
When the material has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of removal from the mold. This is yet another measure that depends a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too quick, causing bending of the item.

4. The removing or de-molding step.
When the material within te mold has cooled adequately, the molder taking care of the process can then extract the completed product from the mould. The function is repeated from the start, supplying a series of similar items.
