1. Mold prep work.

3. Mould cooling.
When the product has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mould. This is another procedure that depends a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too rapidly, causing warping of the item.

4. The discharging or de-molding step.
When the component inside te mould has cooled effectively, the person taking care of the process can then extract the completed item from the mould. The technique is repeated from the start, supplying a series of identical items.
