1. Mould fitting.

3. Mould cooling.
When the component has sufficiently spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the component cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of removal from the mold. This is an additional step that depends a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too fast, causing warping of the product.

4. The unloading or de-moulding phase.
When the material within te mold has cooled successfully, the person managing the operation can then extract the completed item from the mold. The function is repeated from the beginning, providing a series of exact items.
