3. Mould cooling.
When the product has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of removal from the mold. This is one more measure that relies a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too fast, causing warping of the material.

4. The offloading or de-moulding phase.
When the material inside te mold has cooled adequately, the molder managing the operation can then extract the completed product from the mould. The technique is repeated from the start, making a number of similar items.
