When the material has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the component cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mold. This is an additional step that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing bending of the product.

4. The offloading or de-molding step.
As soon as the product inside te mold has cooled effectively, the person handling the operation can then take out the completed item from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, giving a number of exact products.
