The Rotomoulding Procedure Components

1. Mould readying.

2. The heating up and fusion process.
Once placed into the oven, the mold is turned on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and overlays the inside if the mould. The rotation is done slowly and gradually, about 20 revolutions per min. Something that is essential at this moment is the amount of time the mould will spend within the oven. If it stays to long, the component will lose value and durability, making a weak product. If it is taken out from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which generates bubbles in the finalized item.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the product has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is one more measure that depends a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too quick, causing warping of the material.

4. The unloading or de-moulding phase.
As soon as the product within te mold has cooled effectively, the person taking care of the operation can then remove the finalized item from the mould. The process is repeated from the start, making a series of exact product lines.
