1. Mould prep work.

2. The heat and fusion step.

If it overstays, the product will lose value and durability, making a faulty item. If it is extracted from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have liquefied properly, which generates bubbles in the finished item.

3. Mould cooling.
When the material has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is yet another procedure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing bending of the material.

4. The offloading or de-molding step.
As soon as the product inside te mold has cooled properly, the person taking care of the operation can then remove the finished item from the mould. The technique is repeated from the beginning, giving a number of exact items.
