The Rotomoulding Process Components

If it stays to long, the component will lose stability and strength, making a faulty item. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have liquefied properly, which develops bubbles in the completed product line.

3. Mold cooling.
When the material has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the component cools, it shrinks a little for ease of removal from the mold. This is yet another measure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing bending of the product.

4. The un-loading or de-molding step.
When the material inside te mould has cooled correctly, the molder handling the operation can then extract the completed product from the mold. The function is repeated from the start, giving a number of identical items.
