1. Mould preparation.

If it overstays, the component will lose value and durability, producing a poor item. If it is taken out from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed correctly, which creates bubbles in the finalized product.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the product has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of removal from the mould. This is another procedure that depends upon a lot on the correct timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too quickly, causing warping of the item.

4. The discharging or de-molding step.
When the material inside te mould has cooled adequately, the molder handling the operation can then extract the finalized product from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the start, supplying a number of similar products.
