1. Mold preparation.

2. The heat and fusion process.
Once placed into the oven, the mould is rotated on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and overlays the inside if the mold. The rotation is done slowly, about 20 revolutions per minute. Something that is important at this point is the amount of time the mold will spend within the oven. If it stays to long, the component will lose stability and durability, generating a poor item. If it is taken out from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed correctly, which produces bubbles in the finalized item.

3. Mold cooling.
When the component has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is one more measure that depends a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too quickly, causing warping of the product.

4. The discharging or de-molding step.
When the product within te mold has cooled properly, the person managing the process can then take out the finished item from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, supplying a number of exact products.
