1. Mould fitting.

3. Mould cooling.
When the component has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces a little for ease of removal from the mold. This is yet another procedure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too quick, causing warping of the item.

4. The discharging or de-moulding phase.
Once the component inside te mould has cooled successfully, the person managing the operation can then take out the completed item from the mold. The function is repeated from the beginning, providing a number of similar items.
