1. Mold prep work.

2. The heating up and fusion step.
Once placed into the oven, the mold is turned on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and coats the inside if the mould. The turning is done slowly, about 20 revolutions per min. The main thing that is important at this moment is the period of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the product will lose value and durability, producing a faulty item. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted properly, which creates bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mould cooling.
When the material has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces slightly for ease of removal from the mould. This is yet another procedure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too quickly, causing bending of the item.

4. The discharging or de-moulding phase.
As soon as the component inside te mold has cooled effectively, the person taking care of the procedure can then remove the finalized item from the mould. The process is repeated from the beginning, giving a number of similar product lines.
